Exciting News! World Premiere of “The Tempest of Neptun” at Beldocs Festival

We are thrilled to announce the world premiere of the film “The Tempest of Neptun” directed by the incredibly talented Katarina Stanković, at this year’s Beldocs Festival!

About the Film

“On the Croatian island of Vis, a diverse group discusses their future, reflecting on the decline of storytelling and listening cultures. Fishermen, youth, intellectuals, and others gather in cinematic dialogue, shaping the collective protagonist. Their debates on growth versus environmental protection connect past, present, and future, bridging local and global perspectives.”

This poetic and thought-provoking film brings together a multitude of voices and perspectives, highlighting the rich cultural tapestry of Vis while addressing universal themes of environmentalism and the power of community. The cinematic dialogue between the island’s inhabitants creates a powerful narrative that resonates beyond the local, making a compelling statement on the importance of preserving our cultural and natural heritage.
